INSPIRATION FRIDAY ~~ALTER SOMETHING~~

It's Inspiration Friday over at LaLaLand crafts and our theme for this week is

ALTER SOMETHING

I picked up some cute little Mason jars at my local haberdashery store a couple of days ago, and thought it would be fun to alter

I am totally inspired once again by my dear friend Bernie, who has made lots of these jars for our new store window display. She is just so artistic and talented.

I have used Graphic 45 Christmas papers and a little strip of spotted vellum to let the light shine through.

The candle is sitting in a nest of epsom salts.

DS130 ~ HAPPY HOLIDAYS~

It's time for a new Deconstructed sketch.

With all the busy-ness of the festive season, I decided on a quick and easy card this week.

I used some gorgeous G45 papers, with the central panel already printed up the right size for my card. I think it was 3" X 4"

Here's Jen's fab sketch.

Have a great week. I'll be back tomorrow with a gift to match tonight's card.

I have paper-pieced Marci's clothes again this week, including the little scallops on her coat.
I find that if I added some copic shading onto the paper-pieced pieces, they look more three-dimensional.

DS129 ~#1 COACH~

Hi there.
I'm here with a new Deconstructed sketch for you to try.

It's my DD#4's Under 12 basketball grand final this weekend and it is our job to purchase the coach a thank you gift on behalf of all the girls.

So, I used this week's sketch to make his card…..

I used the team's colours to personalise the card, and of course bling is an essential element of a card from seven ten and eleven year old girls.(even if the coach is male!)

And here is Jen's sketch, awesome as usual.

Good luck to Daisy for her basketball grand final too.

Thanks for stopping by,

Tracey.
